SBV's Cash Centres are situated nationally and have been strategically placed to meet our customers' demands. Our state-of-the art cash processing equipment and implementation of cutting edge technology enable SBV to retain its leadership position in the industry. We have also implemented the latest security systems to ensure that our customers' cash is secure and that our people can come to work in a safe environment.

SBV's comprehensive cash management solutions include:

Wholesale cash provision for the banks and the South African Reserve Bank
We own and manage 20 cash centres and streamline the cash management process by saving costs and eliminating the risk of transferring cash. SBV provides a total cash centre solution for wholesale cash, note sorting and Notes Held to Order, as well as retail cash processing on behalf of the banks.

Treasury (bulking and de bulking of cash)
Notes are counted, sorted and prepared in bundles for delivery as per our client's specifications. Coins are also sorted and prepared for dispatch.

Payrolls and change orders processing
Cash orders placed by retailers are processed and delivered from our cash centres securely and efficiently, saving time and eliminating the risk factor.

Retail cash services
An end-to-end solution is provided for our retail clients, whereby cash transported to SBV's cash centres is processed on behalf of the banks. This eliminates the need to deal with different service providers and having to visit a bank branch to deposit large amounts of cash.
