The centres process, move, and store cash, providing essential services for industry, our bank customers, businesses, and ultimately everyday citizens of South Africa. SBV’s centres ensure the efficient management of the supply and demand of cash.

SBV’s protection officers are highly trained team members who mitigate risk and secure industry cash, move cash between the Central Bank and cash centres, ensure ATMs are balanced, cleared, and re-filled.
