SBV is aware of the Motor Transport Workers Union’s (MTWU) threat to commence with strike action.
SBV has been in consultation with the MTWU and a variety of matters have been agreed upon including an 8.5% salary increase.
The two matters that are currently in discussion between the parties are notching (starting salary for a new employee) as well as the minimum wage for the tellers in the cash processing department.
SBV is committed to ensuring that these matters are resolved quickly and amicably, ensuring that the best interests of all relevant stakeholders are met.
